Tauro x Andrea Cammarosano: Invisible Friends Collection S/S 2013

“Travel light” is an axiom most of us swear by so when Tauro, the high-end leather goods label collaborated with Andrea Cammarosano, (former menswear assistant to Antwerp designer Walter Van Beirendock) he road-tested it himself while hiking the Inca Trail:

“This bag held my essentials while hiking the Inca Trail through the cloud jungles of Peru as well as brought home groceries from my local market. This special edition of this bag utilizes a custom print on heavy canvas by designer, Andrea Cammarosano, and is included in his Invisible Friend SS2013 Collection.”

After speaking with Tauro owner Scott Tal about the collaboration during a recent interview, he also let me know the bag is available in a natural waxed canvas too–but why the hell would you do that when the print itself is so dope?

The collab also boasts totes with variations of this dynamic print on heavy cotton canvas with waxed-edged leather straps and solid brass hardware. A leather bracelet and and leather pendant are a part of the line and feature hand-forged copper toggle clasp, small tassels, and a lined leather strap in a bocca di lupo knot which is sort of a metaphor for good luck.
